Garden Of Tears

Hey everyone A poem on the importance of Faith and the role that Holy Thursday plays within my faith as part of the lead up to the Easter celebrations. It was after all the last day of Jesus life before going to the cross.

Garden Of Tears

A prayer said in quiet contemplation
in a garden he stood alone
knowing the fate for which he was destined
he knew what beckoned
the spotless one
clean without blame
he knew the pain
and humiliation
he was born to suffer
yet still he put the needs of others
before those of his own
in a garden he stood alone
on the night his father wept
